Edition #8 - Building in Public + Futurist Marketers’ New Brand & Mission + Last Edition?
Creating the best platform for marketers to grow holistically
Hey friend, it has been a minute! In fact, it’s been almost 3 months since the last edition of our newsletter. Fret not, I’ve got lots of exciting and more importantly, valuable news and insights for this month's edition! Sad news, this will be the last of it (to be explained below).
First off, there have been many changes over the past few months, both for Futurist Marketers platform and within me. The main callout is that part of my calling, is that I genuinely enjoy educating and helping those around me, in this specific use case, teaching marketing and self-development (personal growth).
Part of that entails, me building this venture to be the BEST platform for marketers to grow, create meaningful relationships and become leaders, for a better future.
Yes, that is a bold mission statement. But I’m willing to try. It may take years, it may take a decade, it may even take a lifetime…but I’m in!
"Dreams are the seeds of change. Nothing ever grows without a seed, and nothing ever changes without a dream." - Debby Boone
Btw, if this is your first time reading the newsletter, welcome! It’s worth noting who I am and what I do before we officially begin. I am…
- A Growth & Performance Marketing consultant for businesses looking to scale their brand awareness, customer acquisition/activation, revenue, retention and referral loops at Proverve (worked on BMW, Audible and Meta)
- Building Futurist Marketers, the holistic platform for professionals to upskill, connect and collaborate on projects that will positively influence the future.
- Learning to build multiple SaaS products with no-code (bubble) that holistically helps marketing and growth teams understand their digital growth opportunities. More news on this coming soon.
Now, back to the newsletter and some major Updates to the platform below!

Click HERE and take a skim! Also, we have a public Notion board of all the backlog tasks we’re doing to build the platform, check it out HERE.
🤝 We’re now accepting professionals (marketers, entrepreneurs or creatives) for our first-ever community, called the Futurist Marketers Club. It’ll be a space for you to master marketing, create meaningful connections, build collaborative projects and nerd out on all things marketing and of course, Futurism! Join the waitlist HERE (forecasted launch date: Q1/2025 + first 100 subscribers gain a free 1-1 coaching call with me!)
🎙️ We’ve officially launched our very own podcast! I interview marketing experts to hear their stories, extract insights from their personal/professional experiences and geek out on tactics/hacks in the specialised roles they are experts in. Listen to the podcast HERE
🚀 Probably announcing this too soon, but, I’m now working on building a web/mobile app! I can’t expand on it too much, but it will help with two things: 1) media planning/forecasting for marketers, 2) help build our very first online course on Mobile App Marketing. Subscribe to the NEWSLETTER to hear first-hand how this unfolds!
📚 Yes, it is true. This will be the LAST edition of our newsletter. Don’t worry, the newsletter itself is not ending, just the current format. I’ve realised that we have a finite amount of time and energy and I want to focus on areas of output that are more valuable to me/community - and currently, this is on YouTube. You’ll continue to hear all about me and the platform, but more from our blogs instead.
